Held at the Listrik Indonesia office, APLSI Chairman Eka Satria participated as a guest speaker in the “Bincang Listrik Indonesia” discussion program, hosted by Herman Darnel Ibrahim, Chairman of the Listrik Indonesia Expert Council.
The government and PLN continue to strengthen electricity supply readiness to anticipate rising demand, which shows an upward trend each year. In meeting national electricity capacity needs, efforts extend beyond PLN alone, involving private power producers represented by the Indonesian Private Power Producers Association (APLSI), which will contribute to electricity development in line with the Electricity Supply Business Plan (RUPTL) 2025–2034.
According to APLSI Chairman Eka Satria, the association welcomes the RUPTL initiative, particularly given the significant portion of power development assigned to the private sector. The planned addition of approximately 69.5 GW of generating capacity outlined in the RUPTL 2025–2034 presents both an opportunity and a challenge for APLSI, especially considering the scale of investment required to realize these targets.
